From time to time, Just Eat sends marketing notifications about money-making opportunities, run incentives, courier exclusives, new app features, and other announcements intended to improve the experience of couriers delivering on the Network. While you can opt-out of marketing communications from Just Eat, you cannot opt-out of communications that are considered to be a network requirement, such as updates to service level agreements.
To turn off notifications offering custom runs and run extensions, all you need to do is update your app settings. Here’s how you can do that:
Push Notifications
Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner of the profile section in the Courier App.
Go to app settings and then click on the notifications bar.
From here you can change push notifications preferences by toggling the Earnings Opportunities option on or off.
Push notifications that appear while you’re on a delivery run, such as a new offer notification, cannot be turned off through the App. You can turn these off through your phone settings, but keeping them turned on ensures you won’t miss out on new offers, and incentives.
To stop receiving SMS notifications, simply respond by typing “STOP” to any SMS sent by Just Eat to unsubscribe from future texts. You’ll still receive texts for two-factor authentication while logging in to the Courier Portal. If you want to start receiving SMS notifications again, just send the word "Start" to the last message you received from us.
Emails
If you would like to unsubscribe from receiving emails, click the unsubscribe link located in the footer of each email. We’ll be sad to see you go but you’ll stop receiving marketing emails after you’ve unsubscribed.
